To leverage Hong Kong as an international I&T hub and create synergies between global start-up ecosystems, the international edition of Start-up Express was first launched in 2022. The event aims to engage start-ups to establish business connections with potential partners in Hong Kong.
10 international start-ups will be selected from nominations from our Global Partners, and enjoy the benefits offered by the "Start-in-Hong Kong Programme", which provides a range of advantages for the winners, including a complimentary booth and travel sponsorship for participating in the HKTDC Entrepreneur Day, membership in HKStartupSociety, access to exclusive business matching and networking opportunities, as well as connections with potential investors. Through this programme we aim to expedite the readiness of the winners to venture into the Greater Bay Area and international markets.
